The day started with a boat adventure.  Andrew made it onto his feet (for a minute) barefooting and Aimee made it onto her knees (for a minute) kneeboarding.  After breakfast, we showered and got ready for our adventures.
We ended up at Bill's Restaurant for lunch.  A quick visit to downtown Lake George, gave us the opportunity to return to the arcade - and Zack was able to get his Pokemon and Aimee was able to get Foxy.  Then we separated.
Mom and Ed headed to Rileys and the outlets.  Everyone else headed to the Adirondack Extreme Adventure Course.  They did their training - I think most of them are ready for American Ninja now! Needless to say they were pretty tired at the end of the day.  We headed home where mom and Ed had dinner waiting.  YUM.  There was puzzle making going on.....they watched Julianne Hough on Roughing it with Baer Grylles....homework.....and video gaming.  Off to bed.....ready for new adventures tomorrow.

Today was the what imagine living on lake should be.  We needed wait for our other guests to arrive and were not sure when it would be because Mikayla did not get home from St Thomas until after 3am.  Therefore after a delicious breakfast and showering, Kathy hit the docks to do some homework.  Andrew and Zachary did some fishing.  Mom and Ed went to the grocery store for a few items.

The kids finally arrived around 330.  After showing them around, we listened and looked at some of Mikayla's photos.  (See if you can find one of them in the photoshow today!)  Finally, after doing some laundry it was time for dinner.

We had a delicious one pot pasta!  After dinner because it was pouring out we decided to stay home.  Nick, Zachary and Aimee headed up to their room to play XBox.  Grandpa and Mikayla watched American Ninja.  Grandma had a headache and laid down. Kathy and Andrew started working on a puzzle.

Finally, we decided to call it a night. Big Things coming tomorrow.  Big Things!!!!1

It felt so nice to wake up - look out the window and have the lake and mountains greet you!  After a delicious breakfast of eggs, bacon (Uncle Dave - we said 3 pieces of bacon!!!!!), sausage, donuts, cinnamon rolls prepared by Aunt Lisa, Grandpa and Grandma......The cleanup crew (Andy, Uncle Dave, Zack and Kathy) got the kitchen cleaned up.  Sadly, we said goodbye to Aunt Lisa and Uncle Dave.
After the rest of us showered, and packed a picnic lunch it was off for a ride.  We drove around and saw Brant Lake, and ended up at northern end of Lake George for our picnic.  We enjoyed our picnic on the side of Lake George.
After a stop at the grocery store we headed back to the house.  We enjoyed a wonderful dinner of Grilled fried chicken, fries and corn on the cob.  After cleaning up, Andrew, Kathy, Zachary and UJ headed out for a boat ride.  Zack and UJ did a great job driving.
After our boat ride, Kathy finished homework while everyone relaxed.
Thankfully - Mikayla and Caity finally made it home at 3am after their flight from St. Thomas was delayed.  Can't wait to see Mikayla tomorrow!

Here is a trivia question for you.....
In 1856 a steamboat sank in Lake George.  What was the name of the ship and how many people died?

It's time for our annual trip! We are traveling to Loon Lake in NY. Traveling up for the first day are Kathy, Andrew, Zachary, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Lisa and Uncle Dave.  Our house for the week is directly on Loon Lake.
Loon Lake is tucked in amongst the magnificent Adirondack Mountains. In 1892, in an effort to protect the water, timber and natural beauty of the Adirondack Mountains, the New York State Legislature established the Adirondack Park. In the years since, the wildlife and forests of the Adirondacks have flourished making the park wilder and more pristine than it was at the time of its creation. Nestled in the middle of the spectacular Adirondacks, Loon Lake is everything a mountain lake should be - clean, clear, surrounded by trees and full of fish.
Loon Lake is a wishbone shaped lake in Warren County, New York. Its primary inflows are streams that flow from Mountain Spring Lake to the north and Palmer Pond to the south west. With almost 600 acres of water there is plenty of room to fish, boat and swim in the cool mountain water. The lake is full of pumpkinseed, brown bullhead, northern pike and yellow perch. There are also healthy populations of largemouth bass and small mouth bass to challenge anglers. A town boat launch provides public access to the lake, and there is a full service marina with boat rentals available as well. There are several sand beaches, both public and private, along Loon Lake's tree-lined shore.

On our trip up we stopped for a quick shopping trip at JCPenney at Aviation Mall. Then lunch at Long John Silvers. After our journey here, we quickly unpacked.  We hurriedly put things away, so that we could get the boat in the water.  Aunt Lisa and Uncle Dave enjoyed their first time tubing.  After they enjoyed the water show of Andy kneeboarding and extreme tubing!  Grandma and Grandpa got to enjoy from the deck of the house.  There was even a boat parade we watched.
Next we headed out to Lake George Village.  We stopped at a little tiny restaurant named Bill's.  It was delicious and cheap. In downtown Lake George, Aunt Lisa and Uncle Dave enjoyed a wine tasting.  The rest of us walked around catching Pokemon! We bought goodies at the bakery, and played a few games in the arcade.  Back at the house, while everyone relaxed Kathy hurried to finish her school work! BLUCK!
Anyway, Enjoy these few pictures, more tomorrow, now that I know we have internet to post!
